KUCHING, July 2: The Scout Association of Malaysia Sarawak Branch today created a new record for building the longest bamboo table in Malaysia.

With the span of 75 meters in length and 1.6 meters wide, it beat the previous record set by a club in Pahang (60.9 meter), and was certified by the Malaysia Book of Record.

The table is made out from a total of 480 pieces of bamboo (10 feet long each) that were harvested from Kampung Sidunuk in Padawan.
