KUCHING, July 12: Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg has received two courtesy calls today from the United Overseas Bank (UOB) Malaysia and the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) at the latterās office at Wisma Bapa Malaysia here.
According to the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), the first courtesy call from the UOB delegation was led by chief executive officer (CEO) Ng Wei Wei, and the purpose of the courtesy call was to discuss UOBās efforts to assist the Sarawak government in developing high-value sectors such as renewable energy, digital technology, and agrotechnology.
Abang Johari then received the second courtesy call from SBF, led by its country head (Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines) for Southeast Asia and Pacific Global Division Tan Teck Lee, with the purpose of exploring investment opportunities in various sectors in Sarawak.
Among those who attended the courtesy call were the Sarawak Business Federation president Datuk Abang Abdul Karim Tun Openg and the Sarawak Trade and Tourism Office Singapore (Statos) CEO Chew Chang Guan. ā DayakDaily
