KUCHING, Aug 6: The road to Murum Dam in Belaga District is currently impassable as a section at KM 13+300 has collapsed following heavy rainfall since Friday that stranded motorists passing by the area.
In a road advisory issued today, Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak informed that the road is temporarily closed until ongoing repair works have been completed.
It also advised motorists and the public to follow safety signs and drive along the route that has been provided around the area.
JKR Kapit Division will provide updates on the reopening of the road once repair works have been done.
