KUCHING, April 15: Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak today announced road closures across SK Bukit Arip KM659.27-KM659.69 along Jalan Sibu-Bintulu.
According to a Facebook post by JKR, the road closure is due to pedestrian overpass beam installation works at SK Bukit Arip and is slated for closure on April 17 (Wednesday) from 10am to 4pm, with partial closure of the slow lane and full closure for half-an-hour.
There will also be another road closure across SK Kelawit KM679.78-KM680.20 along Sibu-Bintulu Road which is also due to pedestrian overpass beam installation works for SK Kelawit.
The road is slated for closure on April 19 (Friday) from 1pm to 5pm, with partial closure on the slow lane and full closure for half-an-hour.
Road users are requested to obey the instructions of flag guards and safety signs that have been prepared and to be cautious when passing through the construction area.
