RM45,000 in MRP grants disbursed to three Bukit Begunan recipients

KUCHING, Feb 7: Bukit Begunan assemblyman Datuk Mong Dagang facilitated the disbursement of RM45,000 for three Minor Rural Project (MRP) grants in the constituency.

According to Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, the allocations were distributed by Mong to Kampung Melayu Bakong Development and Security Committee (JKKK), Kampung Melayu Tanjung Bijat Hadrah group and the third for the purpose of upgrading mosque facilities.

The MRP allocations were handed over during a simple ceremony held at Kampung Melayu Tanjung Bijat yesterday.


Speaking during the ceremony, Mong said the State government will continue to to provide allocations to those who submit their applications.

He also conveyed his gratitude to the residents of Bukit Begunan constituency for supporting Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) during the previous Sarawak Election held last Dec. — DayakDaily
