RM4 mln allocated to build agricultural road in Batu Gong Baru and Batu Gong Lama villages

KUCHING, March 14: Greater Kuching Coordinated Development Agency (GKCDA) has allocated RM4 million for the construction of an agricultural road in Kampung Batu Gong Baru and Kampung Batu Gong Baru Lama.

According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, the project will include the construction of a gravel road, construction of new bridge and land acquisition.

It is a follow-up project from the initial project which is the construction of an agricultural road in Batu Gong Lama at a cost of RM2 million.

It is understood that community leaders from both villages will hold a meeting together with village residents to explain about the project.

Deputy Minister of Transport (Aviation and Roads) Datuk Dr Jerip Susil, who is also Mambong assemblyman conducted a visit to the project site today. — DayakDaily
