KUCHING, July 4: Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah visited the Songket Keringkam Laboratory, Heritage Gallery and Couture D’Heritage at Centre of Technical Excellence Sarawak (Centexs) today.
According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, Her Majesty arrived at Centexs at 3pm and was greeted by Minister of Women, Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah and Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier Department (Law, Malaysia Agreement 1963 and Federal-State Relations) Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali.
During the visit, Her Majesty stopped by the Smart Admin Building at the academy for a food exhibition tour of local Sarawak food and was presented with a fashion show from four Sarawakian designers.
Tunku Azizah is expected to attend the Sarawak River Cruise Dinner in the evening.
Also present were Deputy State Secretary (Operation) Datu Dr Sabariah Putit, wife of Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUN) Speaker Datin Amar Dato Fatimah Mohamad Iskandar, Centexs chief executive officer Syeed Mohd Hussien Wan Abdul Rahman and wife of Sarawak Acting State Secretary Datin Sri Baduyah Bujang. — DayakDaily
