KUCHING, Feb 19: Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg received a courtesy call from Sime Darby Plantation Berhad led by its chairman Tan Sri Dr Nik Norzrul Thani Nik Hassan Thani at the former’s office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia here today.
According to a press release, the delegation included Sime Darby Plantation Berhad Group managing director Datuk Mohamad Helmy Othman Basha, Head Group Operation Services Razlanshah Abd Malek, Sarawak Region Chief Executive Officer Khairul Nizam Idris and Government Relations Division manager Hisyam Samad.
The courtesy visit’s purpose was to discuss several matters related to Sime Darby’s operation structure in the State.
Also present were Sarawak Minister of Food Industry, Commodity and Regional Development (M-FICORD) Dato Sri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom; his deputy Datuk Martin Ben; and M-FICORD permanent secretary Sirai Daha. — DayakDaily
