KUCHING, April 14: Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg presented a special Hari Raya gift of RM12,500 to 125 orphans and individuals with disabilities (OKU) from the Darul Hana project area.
According to Land Custody and Development Authority (LCDA) in a statement today, the contribution was presented during a Iftar Ramadan Darul Hana 2022 ceremony held at Borneo Convention Center Kuching (BCCK) yesterday.
The event is part of LCDA’s annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to give back the community in the hopes that it will ease the burden of the unfortunate during this fasting month as they prepare for the upcoming festive celebration.
It was attended by about 580 guests, including LCDA employees, Community Leaders of Kampung Seberang Hilir, Head of Department from relevant agencies, media and other stakeholders involved in Darul Hana Redevelopment project.
Also present during the ceremony were Deputy Minister of Utility and Communication (Utility) Datuk Dr. Abdul Rahman Junaidi, Deputy Minister for Modernisation of Agriculture and Regional Development (Modernisation of Agriculture) Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail and other distinguished guests. — DayakDaily
