KUCHING: Four locals, who allegedly raked in about RM600,000 per month by operating an online gambling centre, were arrested by the police today.
State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) chief SAC Denis Leong said based on tip- offs and surveillance, police raided a three-storey semi-detached house located at Hui Sing Garden at about 10am.
The suspects, three male and one female, aged between 19 and 38 were arrested during the raid.
Police also seized seven units of computers which were displaying ‘JOL KISS’ in the house.
Leong in a statement said police believed they’ve been operating for at least six months with a monthly intake of about RM600,000. —DayakDaily
