KUCHING, 20 July: A 28-year-old man with a previous criminal record was arrested for suspected drug offences at a house located at Kampung Seromah, Jalan Jambusan, Bau this morning.
At 7.30am, a police team raided the house and arrested the suspect.
According to Bau District Police Chief DSP Poge Nyaon, the police searched the suspect and found a transparent plastic packet with 6.8 grammes of a crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine in the suspect’s brown coloured bag.
The suspect also tested positive for methamphetamine.
The suspect was remanded and will be investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. — DayakDaily
