KUCHING, Sept 3: Plaza Merdeka’s ongoing Gifted Art Exhibition is showcasing artwork created by 15 children of various special needs.

Kuching Association of Talent Development and Welfare of Special Needs (KATSN) in a statement today said all the children are gifted with the incredible ability to draw and paint to create beautiful art.

“We encourage the public to visit the exhibition, as your support will help boost their self-esteem and promote their self-reliance of these special children,” it said.

The association added that some of the art displays will also be available for purchase on a first-come first-serve basis.

Meanwhile, Lions Clubs Kuching One Earth, together with KATSN, Divine Will Society and Merdeka Plaza also conveyed their gratitude to Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) Mayor Datu Junaidi Reduan and his wife Datin Dayangku Rohani Awangku Kassim for visiting the exhibition on Aug 2.
