KUCHING, Feb 20: The pipeline construction project in Kampung Kudai Baru and Kampung Kudei Lama is expected to be completed by July this year.

According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, Satok assemblyman Dato Ibrahim Baki said the project will address the low water pressure problem in the area.

“The project involves the installation of a new three-kilometer-long pipeline, replacing the old one with a larger 8-inch and a 6-inch pipe, and cost about RM1.8 million,” said Ibrahim during his visit to the project site recently.

He added the project will benefit about 250 households or 1,300 residents in the area. — DayakDaily.
