KUCHING, Nov 19: Kampung Bintawa Ulu fire victims received some much needed donations and food aid from Malaysian Red Crescent (PBSM) Kuching today.
The contribution was handed over by a group comprising PBSM Kuching disaster relief committee members and volunteers.
“The daily necessities including 150kg of rice from Liansin Trading were handed over directly to each family. PBSM Kuching hoped that some of these contribution can ease and relieve the burden,” a statement from PBSM Kuching read.
On Nov 14, a fire broke out in Kampung Bintawa Ulu at 1.25am, completely destroying five houses, three cars and seven motorcycles.
Two other houses were partially destroyed by the blaze. — DayakDaily
