SIBU, Sept 14: Sibu Rural District Council is closing down Pasar Tamu Selangau for three days starting Sept 15.

In a statement today, the council said the temporary closure of the market is to allow for sanitisation and cleaning works to be carried out to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

“During this period, all business activities are prohibited. The market will be reopened on Sept 18,” it said.

The council said members of the public may direct enquiries to Ling Tung Ang (019-8199200) and Rubiady Rosli (011-31800266). — DayakDaily
