SIBU, Sept 14: Sibu Rural District Council is closing down Pasar Tamu Selangau for three days starting Sept 15.
In a statement today, the council said the temporary closure of the market is to allow for sanitisation and cleaning works to be carried out to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
“During this period, all business activities are prohibited. The market will be reopened on Sept 18,” it said.
