PADAWAN, Jan 26: Witnesses to an accident involving the death of a 71-year-old pedestrian are urged to come forward to assist the police in their investigation.
In a statement issued today, Padawan district police chief Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi said that last night (Jan 25) at around 10.43am, a car driven by a 37-year-old man hit an elderly pedestrian at Jalan Pehin Sri Haji Adenan Bin Haji Satem, causing the pedestrian’s death.

“The case is investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act.
“Witnesses to the accident are urged to come forward by contacting investigating officer Inspector Abang Azizil at 014-8677853 to assist in the investigation,” he said. — DayakDaily
