SRI AMAN, Aug 5: Fire and Rescue (Bomba) Sarawak Zone 3 Sri Aman will strive to be proficient, work to continuously improve by all available means, and provide a high level of service based on their knowledge of the profession to members of the local community, says its new chief PgB Ramlan Marajan.
Together with a team of three officers, Ramlan made separate courtesy calls on Sri Aman Resident Indit Bangai and police chief DSP Bingkok John today.
āAmong issues discussed were enhancing cooperation with the district office and police force, development of fire stations in terms of operational functions and services, and fire safety measures particularly in rural areas. We also emphasise on public awareness programmes and Enforcement Act 341,ā Ramlan disclosed in a statament.
The visitors were also also briefed on the development and eco-system of Sri Aman division by Indit.
Ramlan believed the courtesy call will enhanced both sidesā corporation and communication especially in relation to National Security Council (MKN) Directive 20.
Also present during the visit were Bomba Zone 3 head of fire and safety TPgB Di-Hata Gobel, Sri Aman fire station chief PPgB William Baheng and operations officer PBK I Bangga Baie.
Later in the afternoon, the firefighters visited Bingkok at the Sri Aman district police headquarters.
āSimilar with our visit to Indit, we briefed Bingkok on our functions and roles in terms of operations, fire safety and how we can strengthen our cooporation especially for cases that involves search and rescue (SAR) as well as MKN 20.
