KUCHING, Oct 3: The MySejahtera app will feature a new ‘complaint’ button in its next update to allow users to report any standard operating procedure (SOP) violations.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Health (MoH) today, the ‘complaint button’ will enable users to directly report SOP infringements by any individual or premises to the authority.

“For individual SOP breaches, users can make a complaint regarding failure to wear facemasks or failure to practise social distancing, as well as for premises’ violations such as failure to record visitor attendance.

“This include failure to check the customer’s body temperature, violations of the quarantine order and many others,” it said.

The ministry added the new update will also allow users to upload photos as evidence of SOP violations. — DayakDaily
