KUCHING, Jan 24: The 23-year-old female suspect who was remanded for a total of eight days to assist the investigation into the killing of a businessman was released today.
Magistrate Mohd Syukri Mokhtar allowed the suspect to be released.
The suspect, who was represented by counsel Fung Lee Fook, was brought to the Magistrate’s Court as her remand expired today.
Police have so far arrested six suspects, including the 23-year-old female suspect. They are still looking for four suspects who are still at large.
The 27-year-old businessman was abducted on Jan 12 together with his car. His body was found three days later.— DayakDaily
