Mukah’s proposed RM15 mln Eco Park project set to revitalise local economy

MUKAH, March 29: Following the RM15 million Eco Park project, Mukah anticipates a transformative impact set to stimulate the local economy and attract visitors from far and wide.

According to a news report by Unit Komunikasi Awam Sarawak (Ukas), the project has been designated as a priority for approval by the Rajang Delta Development Agency (RADDA).

Its strategic location situated opposite the Mukah wet market, ensures accessibility via both river and road routes.


The aim of the Eco Park project is to enhance local produce sales, upgrade coastal fishermen’s docks, and improve walkways, ensuring convenience for both locals and visitors within the area.

Balingian assemblyman, Abdul Yakub Arbi visited the proposed site yesterday (March 28) to evaluate ongoing works encompassing upgrades to facilities and walkways. — DayakDaily
