Bomba-styled training for scouts to be capable first responders

KUCHING, Oct 24: The Malaysian Scouts Federation (MSF) Sarawak branch will collaborate with Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak on specific programmes for its members to earn their badges.

Earlier today, MSF Sarawak chief commissioner Captain Zainudin Hamdan Sirat paid a courtesy call on state Bomba director PKPjB Khirudin Drahman.

“We discussed on the three courses which scouts need in order for them to earn their badges. They are first aid, rescue and fire extinguishing,” Khirudin disclosed.

Also present at the meeting were assistant director of training PgKB II Rafie Sapar and Bomba Sarawak senior officers; deputy commissioner of MSF Sarawak Branch DC Methodius Macdonald Segie and several of its members. —DayakDaily
