BINTANGOR, Oct 6: A motorcyclist died after an accident with a four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle along Jalan Bintangor-Sibu at 2.20pm yesterday (Oct 5).
Meradong district police chief DSP Sekam Anoi said the 4WD was trying to overtake a car when it collided with the motorcycle, which was travelling in the opposite direction.
“The motorcyclist suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene,” he said in a statement.
