KUCHING, Nov 4: A recent social media post titled ‘GE15 may be cancelled if the number of Covid-19 Omicron XBB cases continues to rise before Nov 19 polling day’ is fake, clarifies the Ministry of Health (MoH).
The notice of clarification was published on MoH’s official Facebook page earlier today.
“The MoH would like to inform that the caption published on Nov 4, 2022 (Friday) on Facebook page ‘My News’ is false, does not reflect the real situation and may cause confusion among the public,” it read.
Meanwhile, the ministry was grateful that most of the public are still wearing face masks outdoors for the safety of themselves and their families and friends. — DayakDaily
