KUCHING, Oct 24: Sarawak Ministry of Public Health, Housing and Local Government has set up a temporary office at Borneo Samariang Garden Resort City.

According to a report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), the office will provide the latest information on the status of projects by developer Sentoria Borneo Land Sdn Bhd (SBLSB) at the site.

In addition, it also aims to address the problems faced by homebuyers involved.

The office is open from 8am to 1pm, from Oct 11 to Dec 31.

The exact address is Sublot 83, Lorong Ceria 2D Borneo Samariang Garden, Jalan Sultan Tengah, 93050, Kuching.

The Borneo Samariang Garden project is a private housing development undertaken by SBLSB which was supposed to be completed in 2019, but its construction has been abandoned following internal problems.

In previous reports, distressed homebuyers expressed their dissatisfaction over the project’s delayed progress which have increased their financial burdens. — DayakDaily
