KUCHING, April 29: Miri City Council (MCC) is offering a 50 per cent discount and a chance to win lucky draw prizes for those who pay their parking compounds from May 1 until 31.
In a statement today, MCC said this special offer is being held in conjunction with Miri City Council’s 17th anniversary of Miri City Day and Miri May Fest 2022.
According to the council, vehicle owners who fully settle their outstanding parking compounds during the ‘Semak & Bayar Parkir Kompaun Anda’ campaign will automatically enrol in the lucky draws.
The grand prizes for the lucky draw include an iPhone 13, Apple iWatch Series 7, Sharp 43-inch LED TV, quarterly period of blue zone season parking coupons, and 10 consolation prizes of one month’s worth of blue zone season parking coupons.
The results of the lucky draws will be announced in June after the campaign period has ended.
MCC also said parking defaulters could check their outstanding parking fees through the Miri City Council website at www.miricitycouncil.gov.my, Borneo Parking Systems Sdn Bhd’s website at www.borneoparking.com or by using the ‘Smart Parking Borneo’ app that is available on the Google Play Store.
It added payment for outstanding parking fees could be made through all parking booths in Miri City.
Alternatively, payment can be made through credit card, debit card, Sarawak Pay Global, Boost eWallet Malaysia and more. — DayakDaily
