KUCHING, June 28: Kuching South City Council (MBKS) Mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng received a courtesy call from Johor Bahru’s Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) at the former’s office in MBKS headquarters here yesterday.
According to a press release, the objective of the visit from the MBIP delegation comprising senior officers and councillors was to carry out exchanges and to learn more about Kuching city through healthy city initiatives.
The study visit ended with a fruitful exchange between MBKS and MBIP.
Later, MBKS also received a courtesy visit from Senior Trade Commissioner at High Commission of Canada in Malaysia Ryan Baerg.
During the meeting, they discussed Canadian capabilities across Cleantech and ICT as well as some upcoming initiatives that could possibly bring benefits to Kuching city. — DayakDaily
