KUCHING, Sept 25: A man was stuck inside a saloon car after the vehicle collided with a pickup truck at Jalan Gunung Subis, Niah on Thursday night.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) was contacted at 20.22 pm and a team was dispatched to the scene.
According to the statement from the State Bomba Operation Centre, the driver from the pickup truck did not sustain any injuries while the driver of the saloon car was brought out by the public and sent to the hospital for immediate treatment.
The victim’s left leg was stuck in the saloon car after the collision and Bomba used rescue tools to bring him out from the car.
He was later handed over to the ambulance which was at the scene and Bomba team returned to the station after making sure the scene is safe at 11.06 pm.-DayakDaily
