KUCHING, Mar 24: A man lost his two fingers and received injuries to his body after he was assaulted with a machete at Kampung Bogag, Bau on Monday morning.
The incident happened around 10am when the suspect, in his 30s, rushed into the victim’s house and began to assault him.
According to the victim’s friend who happened to be there when the incident happened, the suspect acted aggressively, shouting and waving his machete around when he rushed into the house and assaulted the victim.
As a result of the assault, the victim suffered heavy injuries on both of his arms, heads, chest and lost two fingers from his right hand.
The victim was later rushed to Hospital Bau for immediate treatment. Police are investigating. —DayakDaily
