KUCHING, April 28: A luxury SUV was destroyed after it caught fire at Jalan Pan Borneo Bintulu-Miri on Sunday night (April 27).
According to a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 9.51pm and firefighters from the Samalaju station were deployed.

“The operations commander noted that the incident involved a white BMW X5 that was by the roadside. The driver managed to escape from the vehicle,” said the report.
After extinguishing the fire, firefighters ensured the situation was safe before returning to the station.
The operation ended at 11.06pm. — DayakDaily
