KUCHING, July 25: A car was destroyed in a fire at Lorong Stephen Yong Park 4B3, Batu Kawah, here this evening.
In a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 5.35pm, and firefighters from the Kota Sentosa station were deployed.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the car fully engulfed in flames, which destroyed the vehicle. No casualties were reported.
The operations team carried out firefighting operations using an offensive approach, deploying one first-aid hose line, with water supplied from the fire engine’s water tank and pump until the fire was extinguished.
The fire was brought under control at 5.48pm, and the operation ended at 6pm. — DayakDaily
