KUCHING, April 17: Kuching Water Board (KWB) has completed the road sealing work along Jalan Tun Jugah near Gala City Commercial Centre) today.
Kuching South City Council (MBKS) mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng visited the site earlier today to check the progress and confirmed that the work has been successfully completed by the KWB.
“We thank the KWB for the swift action in completing their work on the road this morning. I also thank the affected residents for their understanding,” said Wee during his visit to the area today.
Yesterday (April 16), during his site visit, Wee observed that the placement of the metal barricades at a turning point poses a significant hazard to road users which resulted in his party contacting KWB to ensure that the issue was addressed.
Also present at the site was MBKS councillor Judy Kho Poh Gek. — DayakDaily
