KUCHING, April 11: A resident of Kampung Sungai Midin hopes to have a joyful Hari Raya Aidilfitri as repair works for her house are expected to be completed by this month.
According to a news report from the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, funds for the repair works of the house belonging to Robakyah Ramli were allocated under the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) for the Samariang constituency.
Samariang assemblywoman Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali, who monitored the progress of the repair works during a working visit, said the cost to repair the house was RM27,000, which commenced in March.
“I hope that when this project is finished, it will provide comfort to Robakyah and her family,” she said during her visit on Sunday (April 10).
Sharifah Hasidah, who is also Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier’s Department (Law, MA63, and State-Federal Relations), presented Ramadan contributions to residents in the area.
Meanwhile, Robakyah expressed her appreciation to the Samariang assemblywoman for helping to repair her house. — DayakDaily
