The Jalan Masjid health clinic PPV starts operations today (June 30, 2021).

KUCHING, June 30: The new vaccination centre (PPV) at Jalan Masjid health clinic has started operating today and will be rolling out 600 Sinovac vaccine shots daily for the first two days.

Parti Pesaka Bumiputra Bersatu (PBB) Satok branch deputy chairman Datuk Ibrahim Baki emphasised that the rollout will be increased to 1,000 doses on the third day.

“The first and second day, a total of 600 doses of vaccine will be administered.

“The capacity will be increased to 1,000 doses on the third day and the type of vaccine used is Sinovac (from China),” he told Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) yesterday.

Ibrahim was met when visiting the PPV to ensure the facility was properly prepared to roll out vaccine shots today.

He added that volunteers from Malaysian Red Crescent, N8 Satok PBB Youth, People’s Volunteer Corps (Rela) and Sarawak National Youth Organisation (Saberkas) will be assisting to ensure the smooth running of the PPV. — DayakDaily
