‘I want no delay in all education projects in Sarawak’ – PM Anwar

KUCHING, April 19: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today has called for the immediate implementation of new and redevelopment education projects across Sarawak, stressing that the people expect timely delivery of government promises.

Speaking at the Aidilfitri Madani 2025 celebration at the Indoor Stadium in Petra Jaya, Anwar said there are new proposals that he was asked to announce—including new projects under the Ministry of Education (MOE)—such as the construction of new schools and the redevelopment of existing ones.

“These involve primary and secondary schools in several districts across Sarawak, including Sarikei, Mukah, Daro, Sri Aman and Saratok,” he said.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to all relevant ministries involved in these efforts, including the Ministry of Works led by Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi and the MOE.

“I urge that none of these projects be delayed. They must be implemented immediately, as the rakyat want them expedited,” Anwar stressed. – DayakDaily
