SIBU, Nov 15: A 48-year-old motorcyclist tragically lost his life in a hit-and-run accident on Jalan Wawasan yesterday.
Sibu District Police Chief ACP Zulkipli Suhaili confirmed today that the incident occurred at 3.40am, resulting in the victim sustaining serious injuries.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics from Sibu Hospital.
“We appeal to members of the public to provide us with information on the incident for our investigation under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act (APJ) 1987,” urged Zulkipli.
