Heavy rain, strong winds expected in Sri Aman, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit until 6pm (March 26)

KUCHING, March 26: Five districts in Sarawak are expected to experience thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds until 6pm today.

In a notice issued at 3pm today, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (METMalaysia) said the affected areas are:

• Sri Aman (Sri Aman)
• Sarikei (Pakan, Julau, and Meradong)
• Sibu (Sibu)
• Mukah (Matu and Dalat)
• Kapit (Song)

A warning is issued when there are signs of a thunderstorm with an intensity of rain exceeding 20 mm/hour that is close to or expected to occur for more than an hour.
