Search ongoing for missing 11yo schoolgirl of SK Engkudu

SARATOK, March 26: A Year Five pupil of SK Engkudu has gone missing from class at around 6am today, prompting the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak to mount a search and rescue operation.

The child’s father lodged a report at 8.27am, leading a team from the Bomba Saratok Station to be mobilised to the school.

Eleven-year-old Neelofa Entira Entegang was last seen in class while waiting for breakfast.


However, by 5.55am, she was nowhere to be found. The anxious father has no clue as to her whereabouts.

She was last seen wearing a dark blue school uniform and orange slippers.

The search operation involves nine firefighters, four police officers, 11 school personnel, and 10 villagers.

It encompasses a radius of one to two kilometers surrounding SK Engkudu, starting from where she was reported missing. — DayakDaily
