SIBU, Nov 22: A woman who fell to her death from the fifth floor of a shopping complex yesterday is a foreigner, says Sibu district police chief, ACP Zulkipli Suhaili
“The police received a distress call from the public at about 2.08pm. A team from the Criminal Investigation Department immediately rushed to the location,” he said.
On arrival they found a woman dressed in a gray jean, a chequered shirt and a red sleeveless shirt lying dead on the ground floor of the building.
“Our initial investigation shows that the woman is a foreigner aged around 40,” he added.
Zulkipli said the victim’s body had been sent to Sibu Hospital for further action.
“The case is classified as sudden death,” he said
Zulkipli urged the public not to speculate on the case on social media. — DayakDaily
