SIBU, June 22: Two men perished after the car they were in collided with a heavy vehicle at Jalan Stabau last night.
The two victims, 49 and 68, were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Firefighters used special tools to cut open the driver’s door to extract one of the victims.
The driver of the heavy vehicle was unhurt.
According to the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department, the car and the heavy vehicle which was carrying timber collided head on in the 9pm incident. — DayakDaily
