Extended EMCO for Kpg Bintawa Tengah and Kpg Bintawa Ulu in Kuching

KUCHING, Aug 19: Kampung Bintawa Tengah and Kampung Bintawa Ulu in Kuching are among the five localities named for extension of Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) today.

The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement said three other localities with its EMCO extended today are located in Sri Aman, namely in Rumah Joseph Enja in Kampung Bangkong Asal of Pantu, Rumah Laham in Bangkong of Pantu, and Rumah Faizal in Engkeramut.

On the same note, SDMC disclosed the implementation of EMCO in 10 localities in Sebauh, Lubok Antu, Tatau, Pakan, Julau, Kuching, Pusa, Bau and Simunjan.

For three localities of Rumah Partick Andin Anak Uli in Sungai Serakit of Sebauh, Rumah Machau in Nanga Kumpang Engkelili of Lubok Antu, and Rumah Edwin Engkulau Anak Jelani in Nanga Belungai of Tatau, the EMCO implementation has started yesterday (Aug 18), and will continue until Aug 31, 2021.

In two localities in Pakan and Julau, involving Rumah Berayun in Sungai Nansang Tugong and Rumah Achi in Sungai Baladian, the two-weeks EMCO implementation starts today (Aug 19) and will end on Sept 4, 2021.

While in five other localities, namely Kampung Sungai Maong in Kuching, Kampung Hilir Maludam and Kampung Pusa in Pusa, Kampung Sibuluh and Kampung Nowang in Bau, and Pig Farming Area in Simunjan, the EMCO period is set from Aug 20 to Sept 4, 2021.

Meanwhile, SDMC announced the end of EMCO in five localities in Kabong, Bintulu, and Simunjan today (Aug 19, 2021).

The affected localities are Kampung Sessang in Kabong, Rumah Engkabang Anak Anggang in KM23 along Bintulu Miri road of Bintulu, Hock Peng Realty’s workers quarters in Bintulu, Sim Swee Joo’s workers quarters in Jalan Sg. Nyigu of Bintulu, and Kampung Jirok in Simunjan. –DayakDaily.
