KUCHING, Oct 11: Four longhouses have been placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) to curb the spread of Covid-19.
They are Rumah Suting of Sri Aman, Rumah Francis of Lubok Antu, Rumah Bansa of Sarikei and Rumah Intai of Menuang. The first three longhouses will start the lockdown from Oct 13 to 11, while Rumah Menuang will start one day later on Oct 14, until Oct 23.
The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) has also extended the EMCO in Rumah Ruekeith Jampong Longhouse in Lubok Antu.
The committee today announced the lifting of the EMCO in three longhouses in Betong namely Rumah Baba, Rumah Roy and Rumah Mubok as well as that of one plantation, namely Ladang Senandung Masyhur Sdn Bhd in Matu. — DayakDaily
