KUCHING, Aug 19: The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) is once again urging various outlets and the general public to stop sharing and spreading unauthentic or false news regarding Covid-19 through social media, print media and “social messaging”.
SDMC urged for cooperation from all relevant parties and the general public to collectively stop the rise of viral news disseminating fake information.
“All the latest official developments or information about Covid-19 will be released by the Sarawak State Disaster Management Committee,” it said in a statement today.
