The recipients of the aid were Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) members from six longhouses, namely Rumah (Rh) Meling Embol, Rh Jabu Selat, Rh Sutie Kachai, Rh Sumbang Maleh, Rh Undi Berangan, and Rh Don Bosco Ujat, each of whom received a laptop and a printer.

The Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG) of Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Bandaran Sibu No. 2 received three projectors, while Lembaga Pengurus Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (SJK) Chung Ung received three laptops.

In addition, three students were given laptops, and one received a printer.

Teo, who represented Tiong, hoped that all the recipients would take good care of and make the best use of the donations to benefit all.

“To the JKKK recipients, please use this donation for the residents of your longhouses, and for the student recipients, make the most of this donation to your advantage,” he said.

He also advised longhouse folk to remain vigilant, especially on online fraud syndicates.

“Always stay alert, as online fraud syndicates are ever-present on mobile phones and laptops. They have various ways to deceive their victims,” he said. — DayakDaily
