Driver survives collision on Jalan Miri By-Pass

MIRI, Sept 3: A man in his 20s cheated death after the car he was driving turned sideways in an accident at Jalan Miri By-Pass this morning.

According to Miri Fire and Rescue station chief Terry Robson Forance, the victim was travelling alone when his vehicle knocked another vehicle, causing his car to flip onto its side.

“As a result of the accident, the victim was trapped in the vehicle and sustained neck injuries.

“Firefighters had to break the front window with special tools before they could remove the victim. He was also given early treatment by EMRS team,” Terry said in a statement.

Meanwhile, the other driver was unhurt.—DayakDaily
