KUCHING, Nov 29: The driver of a 4WD vehicle carrying oil palm fruits sustained injuries to his head and hand when the vehicle plunged into a drain at the Sempadi junction on Jalan Lundu-Kuching today.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak promptly responded to an emergency call at 3.01pm and despatched a team from the Lundu station to the scene.
Upon reaching the location, firefighters discovered a single-vehicle accident involving the 4WD.
Passersby assisted in extricating the victim from the vehicle.
The Bomba’s Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) team administered initial treatment before transporting the injured driver to the hospital. — DayakDaily
