Doris nears the finish line as she rallies support in Sri Aman

SRI AMAN, Nov 18: With polling day just around the corner for the 15th General Election (GE15), Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) candidate for P202 Sri Aman Dato Sri Doris Sophia Brodie wants to make every vote count to ensure victory.

She held another walkabout today at Lachau Town, Pantu Town, Sungai Tenggang Town and Balai Ringin Town to rally support from the Chinese community in rural Sri Aman.


These three small towns are situated along Sri Aman-Kuching road and are under the state constituency of Bukit Bangunan.

Doris met with shopkeepers and customers who would be casting their votes in one of the five polling districts in the state constituency of Bukit Bangunan, which has a total of 13,704 voters.

Accompanying her on the walkabout was Bukit Bangunan assemblyman Datuk Mong Dagang, and community leaders in the area.

Yesterday (Nov 17), Doris participated in various activities organised by GPS youth at Simanggang Town.

These include an aerobic workout at the Simanggang Waterfront in the morning, and later in the evening, a get together with youths and a street busking at one of the well-known eateries in town.
