KUCHING, April 28: Curtin University Malaysia’s (Curtin Malaysia) students participate in a ‘Floating Structure Challenge’ to test their understanding of structural analysis.

In a press statement today, Curtin Malaysia said the competition was organised by the university’s Department of Civil and Construction Engineering, with participation from 35 students.

According to Curtin Malaysia’s Head of the Department of Civil and Construction Engineering, Associate Professor Wong Kwong Soon, aside from classroom delivery, the competition can help students understand structural analysis better.

“Furthermore, the students find it a considerably more fun and engaging way of learning a complex subject,” he said.
