KUCHING, Sept 10: The Ministry of Health (MOH) has introduced the CovidNow website that features detailed data on the Covid-19 situation in the country.
Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin revealed that the data shared on the CovidNow website includes the number of active cases, cured cases, death cases, quarantine center capacity, Covid-19 treatment (Covid-19 Low Risk Treatment Centres) and vaccination status.
The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement today said the implementation of this new website enables the full involvement of the community with an accurate understanding of the current situation in the country and in the State.
“It is especially important to ensure that the transition to the endemic phase can be done smoothly and safely,” it said.
Members of the public can now get the latest information and daily updates on the Covid-19 situation in the country and in Sarawak by browsing the national website here or the Sarawak section of the website here. — DayakDaily
