KUCHING, Aug 13: Daro and Belaga return to the green zone status of Covid-19 today, while Lubok Antu reverted to a yellow zone status.
According to the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), in a statement today, both Daro and Belaga improve their status from the previous yellow zone status after recording zero new cases of Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
For Lubok Antu, the committee said, the two new cases reported within the last two weeks have brought the district out from the green status with a total of 243 cases reported so far.
As of today, a total of 20 districts remain with the red zone status, namely Betong, Tebedu, Dalat, Selangau, Sri Aman, Kabong, Asajaya, Subis, Mukah, Simunjan, Tatau, Lundu, Saratok, Bau, Samarahan, Serian, Kuching, Bintulu, Miri and Sibu.
Four other districts, Meradong, Beluru, Kapit, and Kanowit, also retain the orange zone status while ten districts, namely Lubok Antu, Telang Usan, Sarikei, Pakan, Sebauh, Julau, Lawas, Tanjung Manis, Song and Pusa are in the yellow zone status.
Daro, Belaga, Bukit Mabong, Matu, Marudi and Limbang are the six districts that are currently in the green zone status. — DayakDaily
